"Come and meet the hosts of Canada AM at beautiful Ridge at Manitou” The Canadian Mental Health Association, Muskoka-Parry Sound invites you to come and say hello to Beverly Thomson and Jeff Hutcheson, long time hosts of Canada AM at a "Meet and Greet" at the Ridge at Manitou Golf Club on Friday July 7th, from 7 to 9pm. Thomson worked on Canada AM for 14 years, prior to the show ending in June of 2016, and can now be seen on CTV News Channel anchoring weekdays from noon to 2pm. Hutcheson, who spent a total of 23 years with Canada AM, retired when the show went off the air and now resides in Prince Edward Island. The event marks the first public appearance of the pair since the end of Canada AM, and you're invited to come out and chat, say hello, ask questions and, get a photo or two or three! Light appetizers will be provided and sponsored by The Co-operators of Parry Sound. Admission is free, but Canadian Mental Health Association, Muskoka-Parry Sound will be accepting donations, which will go towards public education and awareness activities in our community.. "We always look forward to meeting fans of Canada AM and talking about our favorite show, and we are certainly looking forward to the Parry Sound event" said Hutcheson. " Bev and I would love to see as many Canada AM fans as possible that night, and maybe we can even spring a surprise or two, all while helping an exceptional cause."
